How might we make public spaces safer.

Verkada has set out on a mission to improve security for all physical spaces. To do this we began by reinventing one of the most overlooked but important piece of hardware in use today, the alarm panel. The overhaul began with the hardware and expanded to over a dozen devices to protect against intruders, fires and other environmental hazards. We integrated these products into Verkada’s existing platform and made it accessible across a number of device. I was the sole design contributor for each of these 0-1 products.

Organizations are dynamic places. People are coming and going constantly, so we need to build a product that can adapt to a variety of situations and work at all scales to keep people and property safe. To do that we designed Verkada Workplace, a tool help organizations safe and organized.
